The countdown to a beloved summertime tradition in Regina has officially begun. Organizers of the Queen City Exhibition (QCX), set to take place from July 29 to August 2 at the REAL District, have announced an electrifying lineup of live music performances for the Original 16 outdoor stage.
Five Nights of Musical Entertainment
The five-night concert series, held in Confederation Park, is traditionally one of the most popular attractions at QCX, and the 2026 edition is expected to be no exception. According to a news release, this year's lineup offers a high-energy mix of legendary rock acts, country favorites, and celebrated Canadian performers, ensuring audiences a nightly concert experience filled with singalong hits, dynamic performances, and fan favorites.
Opening Night: Country Legends
The festivities kick off on Wednesday, July 29, with performances by American country music artists Billy Dean and Collin Raye, both of whom rose to fame in the 1990s. Their classic hits are sure to set the tone for a memorable week.
Throwback Thursday: 80s Rock
On Thursday, QCX turns back the clock with a collection of 1980s rock hits. Canadian rock band Helix and legendary American hair metal band Quiet Riot will take the stage, delivering a nostalgic evening of powerful riffs and anthemic choruses.
Friday Fusion: Genre-Bending Beats
Friday's show features Toronto-based group Down With Webster, known for their genre-bending mix of hip hop, rock, and pop. Their energetic performance is expected to draw a diverse crowd of music lovers.
Saturday Night: Country Superstar
On Saturday, the outdoor stage welcomes Dallas Smith, one of the hottest stars in Canadian country music. Smith's chart-topping hits and charismatic stage presence promise a standout performance.
Sunday Grand Finale: Rock and Fireworks
The closing performance on Sunday features Canadian rock band Arkells, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. This combination is set to provide a fitting end to a week of musical celebration.
