Marjorie Taylor Greene Launches Furious Attack on Trump and Republican Party

In a dramatic escalation of her recent criticisms, former Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene delivered a blistering tirade against former President Donald Trump and called for the complete destruction of the Republican Party during an appearance on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' program.

"Republican Party Needs Burned to the Ground"

Greene declared with striking intensity, "We have to be realistic about the Republican Party. The Republican Party needs burned to the ground." The former Trump ally, who once championed the president's agenda, has now positioned herself as one of his most vocal critics from within the conservative movement.

During her appearance on Wednesday, Greene made explosive claims about congressional influence, stating, "It's completely controlled — as a matter of fact, much of Congress is controlled by AIPAC and by Zionists, and that is a serious problem." These remarks come amid growing tensions within MAGA circles regarding U.S. foreign policy toward Israel following recent military actions against Iran.

Questioning Trump's Mental Stability and MAGA's Direction

The former congresswoman, who recently advocated for invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from power, didn't mince words about the former president's condition. "I loved President Trump, and I loved everything that he had promised to the American people in 2024, but this has been a complete 180," Greene told Jones.

She continued with a pointed critique of the movement's evolution: "MAGA went from being 'America First' to now it's America last." Greene went further in questioning Trump's mental state, telling the host bluntly that the president is "not mentally stable."

Condemning "Cult-Like" Behavior Among Trump Supporters

Greene reserved particularly harsh criticism for Trump's Christian supporters who continued backing the president despite what she characterized as inappropriate Easter Sunday behavior. "We want to support our president. We want to cheer and root for America. But you don't have to be in a cult where you can't call it out, and that is what this has turned into," she argued.

The former Trump ally elaborated on this cult comparison: "It's turned into a cult where the Trump administration, the president himself, and everyone around him, demands cult-like worship when he's putting up posts like that on Easter Sunday, Easter Sunday, and then calling to destroy an entire civilization of people."

Urging Americans to Abandon Trump Support

In a remarkable reversal from her previous unwavering support through Trump's fraud conviction and impeachment proceedings, Greene now urges Americans to withdraw their backing. "The American people have to open their eyes and deal with reality and deal with truth and the truth is, look, you may have supported President Trump for 10 years, like I did, and like you have, but this is not the same man," she told Jones.

Greene concluded with a sobering assessment: "This is not the same man that we supported." Her comments represent a significant fracture within the MAGA movement and highlight growing divisions among prominent conservative figures including Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, who have also expressed concerns about U.S.-Israel relations following recent military actions.
