A 14-year-old boy from Campbellford, Ontario, has died following an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) rollover on Thursday, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

Details of the Incident

The crash occurred on a private property in the Municipality of Trent Hills, just west of Campbellford, at approximately 5:30 p.m. on April 23, 2026. Emergency services responded to reports of an ATV rollover, and the boy was found with life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The OPP's Northumberland detachment is investigating the incident, but no charges have been laid at this time. Police have not released the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
