Fury Gold Mines Hits 12.50 g/t Gold Over 7.02 Metres at Eau Claire
Fury Intercepts 12.50 g/t Gold Over 7.02 Metres at Eau Claire

Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX and NYSE American: FURY) has released the second batch of assay results from its Phase 1 exploration drill program at the Eau Claire gold project in northern Quebec. The program, totaling approximately 13,000 metres, is focused on expanding resources along high-grade shoots and adding continuity outside the preliminary economic assessment stopes.

Key Drill Results

The standout intercept came from infill drill hole 26EC-101, which returned 12.50 grams per tonne gold over 7.02 metres. This hole targeted an inferred portion of the Eau Claire mineral resource and lies about 45 metres down-plunge from previously reported hole 26EC-099, which is outside the current block model. The result demonstrates strong grade continuity and resource growth potential.

Another significant intercept was from drill hole 26EC-097, which intersected 3.92 g/t gold over 6.92 metres, further supporting resource conversion potential.

Additional Highlights

  • Hole 26EC-098: 17.20 g/t gold over 1.5 metres (expansion)
  • Hole 26EC-100: 10.75 g/t gold over 1.0 metre (expansion)
  • Hole 25EC-097: 10.15 g/t gold over 1.5 metres (infill)

Tim Clark, CEO of Fury Gold Mines, stated: “Drilling at Eau Claire continues to reinforce resource continuity and demonstrate growth potential outside the current block model. Phase 2 drilling will focus on de-risking and expanding the project, connecting mineral resources outside the PEA mineable portion to unlock additional value for shareholders.”

The Phase 1 program completed 21 holes (approximately 12,700 metres), with results received for 11,440 metres. Complete assay results have been received from 18 holes, with partial results from a 19th hole. Six holes returned significant results, as highlighted in the company's release.

Figure 1 in the original release shows a long section of the Eau Claire Deposit looking north, with drill hole locations relative to the block model. Table 1 provides detailed intercepts for all highlighted holes.
