Coors Light Canada has unveiled a limited-edition 'Tall Girl' beer can to celebrate its new partnership with the Toronto Tempo, Canada's first WNBA team. The 473 mL cans will be available for purchase exclusively at the Tempo's home games on July 5 and July 8, 2026, at Coca-Cola Coliseum.

Partnership Background

Last month, Coors Light became the official beer of the Toronto Tempo, marking the brand's entry into women's professional basketball in Canada. The partnership builds on Coors Light's 31-year history with the Toronto Raptors, extending its support to women's sports.

The 'Tall Girl' can is a playful twist on the traditional 'Tall Boy' format commonly sold at basketball games. It is designed for fans to toast the highly anticipated team. The can will only be sold for a limited time during the specified games, making it a collector's item for attendees.

"From our celebratory Tall Girl can to fan activations across the country, Coors Light is proud to be the beer that fans reach for as they celebrate women's basketball, and our new home team, the Toronto Tempo," Ramos added.

As part of the partnership, Molson Coors is donating $10,000 to the Tempo Basketball Foundation, which advances programming for women across Canada through sport. This contribution aims to create more equitable opportunities for participation, connection, and leadership in women's basketball.
