Hypercharge Acquires Eddie, Boosts EV Charging Ports by 45%

Hypercharge Networks Corp., a leading smart electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions provider, has acquired Eddie, a Québec-built EV charging network and energy management platform, from AXSO. The acquisition, effective May 1, 2026, adds over 2,700 total charging ports to Hypercharge's network, representing a more than 45% increase in its publicly disclosed total of over 5,700 ports.

Strategic Expansion in Québec

Québec accounts for over 50% of all Canadian zero-emission vehicle sales, making it a key market for Hypercharge. The acquisition strengthens the company's presence in this EV-friendly region and includes the Eddie brand, customer contracts, customer relationships, brand assets, related intellectual property, and other operating assets.

Financial and Operational Benefits

The transaction is expected to increase recurring revenue and expand the number of ports connected to Hypercharge's network. It is non-dilutive to shareholders and accretive on day one, supporting the company's focus on profitable growth and capital deployment strategy.
