IKO's 2026 Profit Power Series Launches with Sold-Out Roofing Workshops in Halifax and Winnipeg
IKO 2026 Profit Power Series Kicks Off with Packed Workshops

The 2026 Profit Power series by IKO has launched with tremendous momentum, hosting two completely sold-out roofing contractor workshops in Halifax and Winnipeg. These events left participants energized and equipped with actionable strategies to expand their roofing businesses effectively.

Inspiring Workshops with Practical Business Insights

"Profit Power is about giving contractors insights they can take straight back to their businesses," stated Jack Gottesman, Marketing and Brand Director at IKO North America. "The turnout, energy and engagement at Halifax and Winnipeg were incredible. If you weren't there, you missed an experience that went far beyond a typical workshop."

Historic Halifax Event at Marriott Harbourfront Hotel

The Halifax workshop marked the first-ever Profit Power roofing contractor workshop in the Atlantic Provinces, bringing together contractors at the scenic Marriott Harbourfront Hotel overlooking Halifax Harbour. Industry leaders shared valuable insights, with attendees actively taking notes during presentations.

Dmitry Lipinskiy of Roofing Insights shared his personal journey of building a successful roofing business and offered practical tips for enhancing social media presence in today's digital landscape. Other notable speakers included Wade Brown from JobNimbus and Mitch Beaulieu of Advanced Level Roofing, who provided guidance on business scaling strategies.

Mitch Beaulieu, an IKO ROOFPRO Craftsman Premier contractor since 2020, has successfully grown his business from Calgary in 2016 to operating in five cities today. Following the educational sessions, contractors enjoyed axe throwing and networking during a lively happy hour.

High-Energy Winnipeg Workshop with Interactive Learning

In Winnipeg, the energy matched Halifax's enthusiasm with another fully booked event. Sessions featured Wade Brown discussing peak performance, Jason Ashman from Scorpion covering digital marketing strategies, and Dimitry Lipinskiy's signature business-building advice.

The event also included Steve Bunin, an executive communication coach and former sportscaster for ESPN, CBS, and FOX, who taught attendees the art of storytelling. Through interactive exercises, roofing professionals practiced delivering compelling pitches and communicating their value effectively, gaining immediately applicable skills.

The day concluded with a memorable happy hour and a Winnipeg Jets game at Canada Life Centre, where participants celebrated as the Jets secured a 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

IKO's Comprehensive Support for Contractors

Attendees gained valuable knowledge about IKO's manufacturing excellence, vertical integration, and the ROOFPRO contractor loyalty program. These elements demonstrate how IKO supports contractors not only with quality products but also through strategic collaborations, growth opportunities, and resources to help businesses thrive.

Strategic partnerships with companies like Scorpion and JobNimbus are available to all ROOFPRO members, providing contractors with access to tools designed to help them work more efficiently and increase sales. These resources represent IKO's commitment to supporting the roofing industry beyond product supply, focusing on comprehensive business development and professional growth.
