Oakridge Park Opens May 28: First Phase Debuts

Oakridge Park, the multi-billion-dollar development in Vancouver, is set to officially open its first phase to shoppers on May 28. The project, one of the largest in the city's history, combines retail, residential, and commercial spaces along with a public park. The retail footprint alone spans approximately 650,000 square feet and will feature several unique brand boutiques.

Grand Opening Details

In a 30-second announcement video on the shopping centre's website, a list of 50 brands was teased as opening on May 28. Doors will open at 11 a.m. The initial lineup includes high-profile names such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., and Rolex, catering to luxury shoppers. Local companies like Aritzia, Lululemon, and Arc'teryx are also represented. Additional retailers and restaurants are expected to open later, with an estimated 140 tenants planned for Oakridge Park.

Time Out Market Highlights

A major attraction is the Time Out Market, a 50,000-square-foot elevated dining area with 18 kitchens, a coffee counter, dessert offerings, three bars, and an outdoor terrace, seating over 1,000 guests. Confirmed food vendors include renowned Vancouver chefs such as Rob Feenie, The Lunch Lady, and DownLow Chicken. This food hall has been long anticipated and is expected to become a culinary destination.
