The event attracted prominent figures from technology, business, and government. Attendees included Jeff Bezos (Amazon and Blue Origin), Dave Limp (Blue Origin), Bernard Arnault (LVMH), Henna Virkkunen (European Commission), and Ekaterina Zaharieva (European Commission). Germany, designated as Country of the Year 2026, sent a ministerial delegation, while India, the AI Country Partner 2026, was represented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuing the dialogue from the AI Summit in New Delhi.
Innovation and Business Highlights
More than 4,500 exhibitors, 61% of whom were international, displayed cutting-edge innovations. Standout technologies included the smart contact lens by XPANCEO, a thought-controlled humanoid robot by Unitree x HABS, and 3D-printed resorbable implants by Lattice Medical. New event formats, such as the Business Plaza and Investors Office Hours, facilitated enhanced business connections and networking opportunities.
VivaTech x Bloomberg Awards
For the first time, VivaTech hosted the VivaTech x Bloomberg Awards, recognizing influential figures in global technology. Sir Tim Berners-Lee received the Visionary Award, Joe Tsai earned the Leadership Award, and Yann LeCun was honored with the Momentum Award.
Public Engagement and Open-Air Showcase
VivaTech extended its reach beyond the convention center by taking over the Champs-Élysées on June 14 for an open-air technology showcase. On June 20, the event opened its doors to the general public, featuring astronaut Thomas Pesquet as a guest star.
Maurice Lévy, Michèle Benbunan, and François Bitouzet of VivaTech stated: "This 10th edition was not a celebration of the 9 previous years, but the opening of a new decade full of promise."
The next edition, VivaTech 2027, is scheduled for June 16 to 19, 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
