WestJet has announced a new codeshare agreement with Fiji Airways, marking a strategic expansion of its network into the South Pacific region. The deal, which was finalized on May 12, 2026, will allow passengers to book seamless itineraries on both airlines, connecting through key hubs.

The partnership enables travelers to access Fiji Airways' extensive network across the Pacific, including destinations such as Nadi, Suva, and onward connections to Australia and New Zealand. WestJet customers can now enjoy coordinated schedules and baggage transfers, simplifying travel logistics.

Strategic Benefits
For Fiji Airways, the partnership opens up the Canadian market, leveraging WestJet's strong domestic and North American presence. The airline's CEO noted, "Canada is a key market for us, and this agreement will boost tourism and business travel between our regions."
The codeshare will be implemented in phases, with initial routes covering WestJet's flights from Vancouver and Calgary to Los Angeles and San Francisco, connecting to Fiji Airways' services to Nadi. Additional routes may be added later based on demand.
