Truro police have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Ronald Kaziuk in connection with an apartment rental scam investigation. The warrant was issued on May 20, 2026, following an investigation into fraudulent rental listings that targeted potential tenants in the Truro area.
Details of the Investigation
According to police, the scam involved fake advertisements for apartment rentals that collected deposits from victims without providing any actual housing. Investigators believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
Ronald Kaziuk is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes. He is believed to be in the Truro area but may have fled to other parts of Nova Scotia.
