Global Engineering Firm GHD Surpasses AUD 3 Billion Revenue Milestone
International professional services company GHD has announced a landmark financial achievement, reporting gross revenue exceeding AUD 3 billion in its recently released 2025 Year in Review. The Sydney-based firm, which maintains significant operations across Canada, celebrated another record-breaking year ending June 30, 2025.
Strategic Growth and Global Market Presence
The company's diversified global operations demonstrated balanced performance across key regions. According to the financial review, 49 percent of revenue originated from Asia Pacific markets, while the Americas contributed 46 percent of total revenue. European and Middle Eastern operations accounted for the remaining 5 percent of the company's income.
GHD CEO Jim Giannopoulos emphasized the comprehensive nature of the company's success. "Our strong financial results continue to deliver value to our employee shareholders and opportunities for our employees, while our performance in health and safety, client satisfaction, and sustainability also improved over the past year," Giannopoulos stated.
Expansion Through Strategic Acquisition
The company's growth strategy included the significant acquisition of RIM Architects in July 2024, a move that substantially enhanced GHD's architectural capabilities within the United States. This strategic purchase supports the company's ongoing expansion in the competitive US Federal sector, positioning GHD for continued growth in North American markets.
Giannopoulos highlighted the company's values-driven approach, noting that their achievements reflect "our ongoing commitment to our purpose and vision guided by our values of integrity, respect, safety, and teamwork."
Future Vision and Community Impact
Looking forward, GHD aims to strengthen its position as a leading solutions provider and preferred partner for clients worldwide. The company's global network comprises 12,000 professionals operating across 160 offices spanning five continents, demonstrating the scale of their international presence.
"We aspire to be a leading solutions provider and our clients' partner of choice, powered by our 12,000 committed employees focused on creating lasting community benefit, together with our clients," the CEO concluded in the annual review.
Established in 1928, GHD remains privately owned by its employees and operates across multiple sectors including water, energy and resources, environment, property and buildings, and transportation. The company's vision focuses on making water, energy, and communities sustainable for future generations through comprehensive advisory, digital, engineering, architecture, environmental and construction solutions.
