Mazda Canada Inc. reported June 2026 sales of 6,798 vehicles, a decrease of 2.2 percent compared to June 2025. For the first half of 2026, sales reached 34,349 vehicles, down 13.7 percent from the same period in 2025.
CX-90 and CX-30 Lead Gains
The CX-90 set a new monthly sales record with an increase of 51.6 percent compared to June 2025. In the second quarter, CX-90 sales rose 16.6 percent versus Q2 2025. The CX-30 also saw growth, with June sales up 8.6 percent year-over-year and year-to-date sales up 3.9 percent.
The all-new CX-5 posted sales increases of 2.1 percent in June, 2.4 percent for the quarter, and 9.6 percent year-to-date compared to the same periods in 2025. Mazda3 sales rose 3.5 percent in June versus the same month last year.
Model-by-Model Breakdown
Passenger car sales totaled 1,416 units in June, down 1.0 percent from 1,430 in June 2025. Light truck sales reached 5,382 units, a 2.5 percent decline from 5,521 in the prior year. The MX-5 saw a 23.0 percent drop in June sales to 187 units from 243, while the CX-70 declined 11.7 percent to 482 units. The CX-50 recorded zero sales in June 2026 compared to 65 in June 2025; its year-to-date sales plummeted 97.3 percent to 168 units from 6,258.
Year-to-date, passenger car sales are down 15.9 percent to 5,646 units, and light truck sales are down 13.2 percent to 28,703 units. The CX-30 is the only model with positive year-to-date growth at 3.9 percent.
