Victor Dodig officially assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of TELUS Corporation on July 1, 2026, following a planned leadership transition. He had joined TELUS as CEO Designate on May 1, 2026, after serving on the company's Board of Directors since May 2022. Dodig succeeds Darren Entwistle, who retired after 26 years at the helm. Dodig's Background and Vision

Dodig brings more than three decades of executive leadership to TELUS, including 11 years as President and CEO of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC), where he led a major strategic and financial transformation. “I am honoured to take on this role and look forward to an exciting next chapter in TELUS’ growth,” Dodig said. “TELUS has a strong foundation across its networks, its people and the communities it serves. I want to thank Darren for his extraordinary leadership over 26 years in building that foundation and for his invaluable partnership through this management transition.”

He added that he plans to engage with team members, customers, and the investment community to drive growth and deliver stakeholder value. A full biography of Dodig is available on TELUS's website.
