MAX Power Mining Corp. and its CEO Ran Narayanasamy have achieved significant recognition as finalists for three national awards at the upcoming 2026 Canadian Hydrogen Convention in Edmonton. This prestigious event, scheduled for April 21-23, serves as North America's premier gathering for hydrogen production, storage, and infrastructure discussions.
Award Nominations and Industry Leadership
The company has been nominated for both the Hydrogen Project Award and the Digital Innovation Award, while CEO Ran Narayanasamy is a finalist for the Emerging Hydrogen Leader Award. These nominations highlight MAX Power's pioneering work in developing Canada's first confirmed subsurface natural hydrogen system.
Convention Participation and Panel Discussion
In addition to the award nominations, Mr. Narayanasamy will moderate the convention's inaugural panel discussion on natural hydrogen, titled "Naturally Occurring Hydrogen – Exploring Canada's Potential." This session, scheduled for April 22, will feature MAX Power Chief Geoscientist Steve Halabura alongside other industry experts, providing valuable insights into Canada's natural hydrogen potential.

The award recognition coincides with several critical developments in MAX Power's operations:
- Resource modeling and estimation at the Lawson Discovery on the Genesis Trend
- Basin-scale testing at the Bracken site, located 325 kilometers southwest of the Lawson Discovery
- Expansion of the company's proprietary AI-assisted MAXX LEMI Platform
