Brunswick Exploration Inc. has unveiled a new set of high-grade assay results from its first-ever drilling campaign at the Anatacau Main Project, solidifying the site's status as a major discovery within the company's portfolio. The project is situated in the resource-rich Eeyou Istchee-James Bay territory of Quebec.
Significant Lithium Intercepts Highlight Potential
The company reported that all results from the initial program have now been received, with several drill holes returning impressive lithium oxide (Li2O) grades over substantial widths. A standout result came from drill hole AN-25-04, which intersected 1.53% Li2O over 53.9 meters, starting at a shallow vertical depth of just 23.7 meters.
Another notable intercept was found in hole AN-25-01, grading 1.58% Li2O over 22.0 meters from a depth of 14.2 meters. These results confirm the presence of thick, richly mineralized pegmatite dykes at the site.
Cesium Values Add to Discovery's Profile
Beyond lithium, the drilling continues to reveal exceptionally high cesium values, a rare and valuable critical mineral. The program intercepted cesium oxide (Cs2O) grades reaching 1.10% over 1.4 meters within a secondary sub-parallel dyke. Brunswick notes these are among the highest cesium values reported in the James Bay region.
The company provided a complete table of mineralized intercepts, which shows consistent lithium mineralization across multiple holes, alongside tantalum and cesium credits.
Leadership Optimistic About Future Work
Killian Charles, President and CEO of Brunswick Exploration, stated that the results underscore the significant exploration potential at Anatacau Main. "All drill holes have returned multiple, thick richly mineralized pegmatites alongside among the highest value cesium values reported in the James Bay," Charles commented.
He emphasized that the targets remain open in all directions and will be the focus of additional work planned for early 2026 to further delineate the discovery.
Charles also highlighted an upcoming corporate milestone, noting that prior to a second phase of drilling at Anatacau, the company plans to release its maiden resource estimate for the wholly-owned Mirage project within the next four weeks.
The Anatacau Main Project is now cemented as a high-priority target for Brunswick Exploration. The shallow depth of the high-grade mineralization and the open nature of the targets in all directions set the stage for an aggressive follow-up campaign in the new year as the company seeks to define the full scale of this promising discovery in Quebec.
