Dynacor Advances Senegal and Ecuador Mining Plant Expansions

MONTREAL – Dynacor Group Inc., a prominent player in the mining sector, has released a comprehensive update on the ongoing construction and upgrade activities at its operational facilities in Senegal and Ecuador. The corporation confirms that both projects are progressing according to schedule, with anticipated first ore processing milestones set for 2026.

Senegal Pilot Plant Advances on Schedule

In Senegal, work on the pilot plant continues to move forward without delays. Site preparations are advancing in parallel with equipment shipments, ensuring a coordinated approach to the project timeline. Key components of the modular plant have already been delivered to the site, including the Merrill Crowe circuit, jaw crusher, leaching tanks, as well as office and laboratory facilities. All remaining necessary equipment is either currently located in Dakar or en route to the destination.

Infrastructure development at the Senegal site is proceeding as planned. This includes the concrete foundation pour, construction of tailings pond cells, installation of fencing, and improvements to the access road. Additionally, the water borehole required to supply the plant has been successfully completed.

Dynacor is actively engaged in pricing discussions with local artisanal mining sites to secure the small ore feedstock necessary for the pilot plant operations. These negotiations build upon multi-year discussions with key stakeholders in the region. The corporation remains confident that processing of the first ore will commence as scheduled in the second quarter of 2026.

Community Engagement Initiatives in Senegal

Alongside the technical progress, Dynacor has been implementing community-focused initiatives to build visibility and foster positive relationships with local populations. Through its subsidiary Galam S.A., the corporation has signed a partnership agreement with a local technical, industrial, and mining high school. This collaboration aims to create internship opportunities for local youth and promote wealth creation within the community.

Additional community projects include the upgrade of a local road and donations of essential school supplies to support educational development in the area.

Ecuador Integration Progresses Systematically

In Ecuador, Dynacor continues to make significant strides in integrating the Svetlana plant across multiple operational fronts. The corporation has awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management contract for the upgrade of tailing ponds at the facility. Dynacor's project team is already on site, with plans to prioritize local Ecuadorian suppliers for various project components.

The main Requests for Quotation are currently being prepared for critical path activities, ensuring that the project maintains its momentum toward the targeted first ore processing in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Organizational Development and Environmental Responsibility

Dynacor has established its Ecuadorian subsidiary under the name Sumacor-EC and has begun recruitment of key personnel. Initial operational hires are already present at the site, laying the groundwork for efficient plant operations.

Demonstrating its commitment to responsible milling practices, the corporation has implemented waste management protocols that include repurposing on-site waste through delivery to authorized third-party recycling companies.

Community Capacity Building in Ecuador

In coordination with local authorities, Dynacor has initiated support programs designed to build local capacity in host communities. These initiatives include promoting employment opportunities for single mothers, providing training in solid waste management, and improving road infrastructure. The corporation plans to conduct a data collection campaign in 2026 to enhance the quality of socioeconomic information available for community planning and development purposes.

Additional Regional Developments

Beyond the primary expansion projects in Senegal and Ecuador, Dynacor reports that discussions with Ghana's GoldBod are advancing, indicating potential future developments in the West African mining sector.

The corporation's systematic approach to expansion combines technical progress with community engagement, reflecting a comprehensive strategy for sustainable growth in the international mining industry.
