Foremost Clean Energy Hits High-Grade Gold at Jean Lake: 34.2 g/t Over 0.8m
Foremost Reports 34.2 g/t Gold at Jean Lake Project

Vancouver-based Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. has reported outstanding drilling results from its ongoing 2025 exploration program at the Jean Lake Gold-Lithium Property in Manitoba, confirming the presence of a substantial shallow gold system along the emerging Valkyrie Trend.

Exceptional Gold Intercepts Close to Surface

The latest assay results from drillholes JL25-003 and JL25-004 reveal multiple high-grade gold intercepts located within 100 meters of surface, highlighting the project's significant potential for near-surface mineralization. The most remarkable result comes from drillhole JL25-003, which intersected 34.2 grams per tonne gold over 0.8 meters, contained within a broader interval of 9.0 g/t gold over 3.5 meters starting at 127.8 meters depth.

Additional significant results from JL25-003 include 9.7 g/t gold over 0.5 meters within 2.7 g/t gold over 2.6 meters at 89.1 meters, and 6.2 g/t gold over 1.0 meter within 1.81 g/t gold over 7.0 meters beginning at 104.5 meters depth.

Drillhole JL25-004 also delivered promising results, including 6.6 g/t gold over 0.7 meters within 2.7 g/t gold over 1.6 meters at 101.7 meters, along with 5.4 g/t gold over 0.5 meters within 3.2 g/t gold over 1.5 meters starting at 90.0 meters depth.

Expanding Mineralization Along Valkyrie Trend

These latest results build upon previous successful intercepts from the 2025 program, including drillholes JL25-001 and JL25-002 that extended mineralization beyond the initial discovery area. The consistent pattern of high-grade gold intercepts at shallow depths continues to validate the company's exploration strategy and confirms the presence of a substantial gold system.

Jason Barnard, President and CEO of Foremost, expressed strong optimism about the project's development. "We are increasingly encouraged by what we are seeing at Jean Lake," Barnard stated. "Each stage of drilling, first in 2023 and now through the initial holes of the 2025 program, continues to confirm a shallow, high-grade gold system along the Valkyrie Trend."

Barnard emphasized the strategic advantage of discovering high-grade gold mineralization less than 100 meters from surface, noting that this significantly enhances the project's economic potential and exploration efficiency.

Strategic Positioning in Strong Gold Market

The company's leadership highlighted the favorable timing of these discoveries, with gold markets remaining exceptionally strong. The combination of shallow, high-grade results and supportive macroeconomic conditions positions the Jean Lake project as a compelling value driver for shareholders.

The 2025 drill program was specifically designed to test the scale and continuity of the Jean Lake gold discovery first made in 2023, while also delineating the near-surface, spodumene-bearing B1 Pegmatite. The program has successfully confirmed a larger mineralized footprint than initially anticipated.

All recent results, together with the 2023 intercept in drill hole FM23-08 of 102 g/t gold over 0.48 meters within 7.50 g/t gold over 7.66 meters, occur within 100 meters of surface, collectively representing the discovery of a substantial near-surface mineralized system along the Valkyrie Trend.

The Jean Lake Property is located near the historic mining center of Snow Lake in Manitoba, a region known for its rich mining history and favorable geology for gold mineralization. Foremost Clean Energy maintains 100% ownership of the project and continues to advance exploration activities with additional assay results pending.
