Koryx Copper Announces Further Significant Drill Results at Haib Copper Project in Southern Namibia

VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Koryx Copper Inc. has released promising assay results from its ongoing exploration program at the Haib Copper Project in southern Namibia. The company reported findings from 13 drill holes totaling 4,965 meters of infill and expansion diamond drilling, marking another milestone in the project's development.

Notable Drill Intercepts Reveal Substantial Mineralization

The latest drilling campaign has yielded several impressive intercepts that underscore the project's potential. Among the most significant results are:

  • HM112: 602 meters at 0.32% copper equivalent, including 272 meters at 0.44% copper equivalent and 40 meters at 0.50% copper equivalent
  • HM121: 495 meters at 0.31% copper equivalent, including 284 meters at 0.42% copper equivalent
  • HM117: 184 meters at 0.51% copper equivalent, with a high-grade section of 16 meters at 1.09% copper equivalent
  • HM111: 64 meters at 0.42% copper equivalent, including 6 meters at 0.74% copper equivalent
  • HM114: 66 meters at 0.40% copper equivalent
  • HM115: 30 meters at 0.52% copper equivalent and 38 meters at 0.63% copper equivalent

These results demonstrate consistent copper mineralization across multiple areas of the envisioned open-pit operation, reinforcing the project's resource base.

Accelerated Drilling Program and Technical Advancements

Koryx Copper currently has 12 drill rigs active on site, with additional track-mounted rigs being mobilized to accelerate the drilling program. The company has completed updated geological modeling and grade estimation, incorporating molybdenum and gold by-products while delineating a large low-grade halo around the main deposit.

An updated Mineral Resource Estimate is expected to be published shortly, reflecting these technical improvements. The drilling program continues with the objective of converting the entire Mineral Resource Estimate to Indicated status by mid-2026.

Project Overview and Development Timeline

The Haib Copper Project is an advanced, large-scale open-pit sulphide copper/molybdenum/gold porphyry project envisioned to produce approximately 88,000 tonnes per year of copper in concentrate over a 24-year mine life. The project employs a simple, scalable open-pit crushing, milling, and flotation process.

According to the company's Preliminary Economic Assessment dated September 4, 2025, the project demonstrates technical and economic feasibility with attractive economics. Koryx Copper is pursuing a low-cost development strategy that is undergoing rapid advancement.

Extensive metallurgical test work and technical infrastructure studies are ongoing, with the planned publication of a Pre-Feasibility Study anticipated toward the end of 2026.

Executive Commentary on Project Progress

Heye Daun, Koryx Copper's President and CEO, commented on the latest developments: "These latest assay results once again demonstrate and confirm the size, grade, and robust copper mineralization of the Haib deposit with some excellent, wide, and very consistent intercepts across multiple areas of the envisaged open pit. The encouraging intersection widths and grades in the infill as well as step-out holes further strengthen the resource base. These results demonstrate the ongoing success of our drill program as we progress the technical work toward the highly anticipated Pre-Feasibility Study to be published in late 2026."
