A 24-year-old man has died following a crash on a Highway 412 ramp in Whitby early Sunday morning, according to police.
Crash Details
The incident occurred on the ramp connecting Highway 401 and Highway 412. Emergency services responded to the scene around 6:45 a.m. on June 14, 2026. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no other injuries were reported.
Investigation Underway
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating the cause of the crash. The ramp was closed for several hours for investigation but has since reopened. Authorities have not released the victim's name pending notification of family.
