Participants will explore a curated collection of homes that showcase architectural styles ranging from early 20th-century craftsmanship to mid-century modernist designs that later influenced the iconic Vancouver Special layout. Each property tells a unique story about the city's development and residential history.
Since its inception in 2003, Heritage Discovery Day has attracted thousands of attendees. Last year's event drew 600 visitors to Kitsilano. Organizers provide ticket holders with a guidebook containing detailed information about each home, as well as lesser-known landmarks that have shaped the surrounding community. Volunteers stationed at the sites offer additional insights.

Organizers encourage biking or using public transit to reach the tour stops, though some locations are within walking distance of each other. Parking details will be provided to ticket holders. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 6.
