Emilie Kiser Announces Pregnancy After Son's Drowning

Emilie Kiser, the influencer whose 3-year-old son Trigg drowned in a 2025 accident in the family's backyard pool, announced Friday she is pregnant with her third child. In an Instagram post, she expressed gratitude and described the news as surreal and a bright light during dark days.

Pregnancy Announcement

“We are so grateful and excited to share that we will be welcoming another baby into our family,” Kiser posted Friday on Instagram. “This news feels very surreal and has already been such a bright light to us during some of our darkest days.” She wrote that the baby has brought hope and joy into their home and that they are treasuring every moment.

Background on the Tragedy

The drowning occurred a little over a year ago at the family's home in Arizona. Kiser had given birth to her second child five weeks earlier and was out with friends while her husband, Brady, watched their two sons. According to police, Trigg was unsupervised in the backyard for more than nine minutes and in the water for about seven minutes. He was hospitalized in critical condition and died six days later.

Privacy and Sharing

Kiser noted in her announcement that family privacy remains her priority, and she is uncertain how much she will share about the pregnancy. “The last thing I want to do is put myself in a position where I’m sharing too much, or I’m not ready to share stuff and I share it,” she said in her first TikTok back after the accident.

Forgiveness and Grief

In June, Kiser appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast “On Purpose with Jay Shetty,” where she discussed forgiving her husband. “I have so much respect for him, honestly, and I think that would maybe shock people,” she said. “But he has allowed me to take out every emotion I’ve had throughout this process, whether it’s on him or talking to him or with other people.” She returned to social media four months after the drowning and selectively shares about her grieving journey.
