Heated Rivalry Star Hudson Williams Reveals Top Vancouver Destinations
Hudson Williams Shares Favorite Vancouver Spots

Hudson Williams, the acclaimed star of the popular Crave TV series Heated Rivalry, has recently opened up about his personal recommendations for exploring Vancouver. In a candid interview with The Permanent Rain Press that has been circulating on social media, the actor, who was born in Kelowna and now calls Vancouver home, shared his top picks for must-visit locations in the city, along with one spot he tends to avoid.

An Ideal Day in Vancouver According to Hudson Williams

Williams, who portrays gay hockey player Shane Hollander in the widely watched series, outlined his perfect Vancouver itinerary. "For my ideal day, you would hike North Vancouver or somewhere past there. You'd do a little gym session. You'd walk Main Street or Commercial Drive, or perhaps Kitsilano. And then you go see a movie," Williams explained. "After that, you just chill out and enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us."

Top Vancouver Destinations Highlighted by the Actor

Capilano Suspension Bridge: Williams emphasized that this iconic attraction is definitely worth a visit. "The Capilano Suspension Bridge is pretty cool," he remarked, acknowledging its appeal to both locals and tourists alike.

Stanley Park Seawall: According to Williams, the Seawall is an absolute must-see, but with a specific recommendation. "Do the Seawall, but don't walk it because it's too long," he advised about the nearly 10-kilometer picturesque, paved route around Stanley Park. "Rent an e-bike or an e-scooter, which I prefer, and you can complete it in about 30 minutes. That's the ideal timeframe to experience it fully."

Favorite Dining Spots in the City

The buzzy actor also shared his preferred places to grab a meal in Vancouver, offering insights into his culinary tastes.

  • Korean Barbecue: "If you want Korean barbecue, I like Kook," Williams said, highlighting this as a top choice for the cuisine.
  • Hot Pot: "I enjoy Big Way Hot Pot. It's become very commercial now, but I still love some good hot pot," he added.
  • Sushi: For sushi enthusiasts, Williams recommended Miku as a standout option.
  • Deep Dish Pizza: "For deep dish, there's a place around Main Street that serves Chicago-style deep dish pizza. It's so glutinous and greasy and absolutely perfect," he described. A reporter's note clarified that the pizza place Williams was referring to is AJ's Brooklyn Pizza.

Williams's insights provide a unique glimpse into how a local celebrity enjoys the city, blending outdoor activities with urban exploration and diverse dining experiences. His recommendations reflect a balance between Vancouver's natural attractions and its vibrant food scene, offering practical advice for visitors looking to make the most of their time in this dynamic Canadian metropolis.
