In a fiery social media outburst, rock musician Jack White has launched a scathing critique of former President Donald Trump, likening him to the Antichrist. This condemnation came in response to Trump's recent posting of an artificial intelligence-generated image on his platform, Truth Social, which portrayed him in a manner reminiscent of Jesus Christ.
Trump's Controversial AI Post on Orthodox Easter
The image, shared on Orthodox Easter, features Trump adorned in attire commonly associated with depictions of Jesus after his resurrection, with light emanating from his hands. Initially, Trump defended the post by claiming it represented him as a doctor from the Red Cross, not as Jesus, but this explanation did little to quell the controversy.
White's Instagram Response Targets Evangelical Christians
On Monday, Jack White, the frontman of The White Stripes, published a lengthy Instagram post directly addressing evangelical Christians. He included two images from Trump's social media: the AI Jesus depiction and another from May 2025 showing Trump as the pope. White's message was laced with sarcasm and urgency.
"Remember that anti-Christ you been squawking about all these years and how he’d present himself as Christlike and bring about the end of days with a final war in the Middle East involving Jerusalem?" White wrote, referencing Trump and the ongoing conflict involving Israel and Iran. "Well...check out your boy now!"
Listing Trump's Alleged Misdeeds
White proceeded to enumerate a series of accusations against Trump, including:
- Felonies and legal issues
- Connections to the Epstein files
- Allegations of rape
- Bombing of schoolchildren
- Actions by ICE agents described as gestapo-like
- Threats to invade countries like Greenland, Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran
He questioned how any self-professed Christian or Catholic could support Trump after what he termed blasphemy and attacks on the pope's character.
Declaring Trump 'Worst American of All Time'
In a climactic moment, White bestowed upon Trump the title of "Worst American of All Time," asserting that Trump has already secured the position of worst president in U.S. history. This declaration came as Trump removed the AI image from Truth Social and denied the Jesus comparison, blaming fake news for the interpretation.
White dismissed Trump's defense as a series of lies, writing, "He lies, then lies about the lie, then doubles down on that lie with another lie and they Just. Keep. Falling. For. It." The musician's post highlights ongoing tensions between Trump and critics over his use of social media and perceived religious imagery.
