Kournikova, Iglesias welcome fourth child

Retired tennis sensation Anna Kournikova and global music superstar Enrique Iglesias have announced the arrival of their fourth child, expanding their family just in time for the holidays.

A Holiday Announcement on Social Media

The 44-year-old former athlete revealed the happy news on her Instagram account, posting a tender photograph of the sleeping newborn. The baby was born on December 17, 2025, according to the caption. Kournikova simply wrote, "My Sunshine 12.17.2025," alongside the image which showed the infant wrapped snugly and resting beside a stuffed sloth toy.

The gender of the new addition was not immediately disclosed, as the baby was pictured wearing a cap with both pink and blue stripes, keeping fans guessing. A source close to the couple confirmed the birth to People magazine, stating, "Anna and Enrique are very happy to become parents again." The insider praised the couple's parenting, adding, "They have proven to be great parents to their three children, and both of them love the process."

Prioritizing Family Life

The report from People also highlighted how Iglesias, known for hits like Bailamos and Hero, has consciously scaled back his demanding touring schedule in recent years. The source explained that the singer finds it "been harder for him to leave" his family and that "being a dad is very important to him." This adjustment has allowed him more precious time at home with Kournikova and their growing brood.

The couple, who have been together for over two decades, are already parents to three children. They welcomed twins, a son named Nicholas and a daughter named Lucy, in December 2017. Their third child, another daughter named Mary, arrived in January 2020.

A Romance That Began on a Music Video Set

The famous pair first met in 2001 on the set of Iglesias's music video for his single Escape. During a 2021 appearance on The Jess Cagle Show, Iglesias shared the amusing reaction of his older children upon discovering the video that features their parents in their younger years.

"It does throw them off a little bit," Iglesias said, per Page Six. "'What is mom doing there? With dad? When was this?' It's actually incredible to watch the expression on their faces. It's pretty cool." He also noted that his twins were beginning to understand his profession, recognizing his voice when his songs play.

The arrival of their fourth child cements the couple's commitment to their family life, a journey that started with a chance meeting on a video shoot and has blossomed into a household filled with love and, now, four little sunshines.
