Shania Twain has released a limited edition gold vinyl of her new album, 'Little Miss Twain,' specifically designed to honour her hometown of Timmins, Ontario. The special edition, announced on June 29, 2026, features exclusive artwork and a portion of proceeds will benefit local arts initiatives in Timmins.
Exclusive Release Details
The gold vinyl pressing is limited to 5,000 copies worldwide and includes a bonus track not available on other formats. According to Twain's official statement, the project was conceived as a way to give back to the community that supported her early career. “Timmins will always be home,” she said in the release. “This album is a love letter to the place that shaped me.”
Impact on Timmins
Local officials have welcomed the tribute. Timmins Mayor Michelle Boileau noted that the initiative could boost tourism and cultural funding. “Shania’s gesture puts Timmins on the map and provides real support for our arts scene,” Boileau said. The album's release coincides with the city's summer festival schedule, and a portion of sales from the gold vinyl will be donated to the Timmins Arts Council.
