Jessica Sutta Claims MAGA Stance Led to Pussycat Dolls Reunion Exclusion
Sutta: MAGA Beliefs Excluded Me from Pussycat Dolls Reunion

Former Pussycat Dolls member Jessica Sutta has publicly asserted that her conservative political beliefs, particularly her alignment with the MAGA movement, directly resulted in her exclusion from the pop group's highly anticipated reunion. The plans for the Pussycat Dolls' comeback, titled "PCD Forever," were revealed earlier this month, featuring a new single called "Club Song." However, fans were taken aback to discover that the lineup had been trimmed from six members to a trio, with only Ashley Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger, and Kimberly Wyatt returning for the tour.

Political Alignment Deemed a Liability

In a candid interview on "The Maverick Approach" podcast this week, Sutta expressed that she and former members Carmit Bachar and Melody Thornton were completely "blindsided" by the announcement. She pointedly noted that her support for President Donald Trump's "Make America Great Again" agenda rendered her a "liability" in the eyes of the group's management. "None of us were told about anything ... and that's kind of how it was, always," Sutta revealed in a snippet from the interview.

She elaborated on her political stance, stating, "I align with [Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.], which is aligning with MAGA. Do I love what Trump is doing? Absolutely not. I do not believe in war. [But] we didn't have a chance for the [vaccine] injured community to get help without him, even though he doesn't want us to exist." Sutta further emphasized her position, adding, "People are screaming at me, 'You're MAGA, you're MAGA.' Yeah, I am. I triple down on it because I'm so sick of people telling me who I should be."

Reunion Tour Labeled a Cash Grab

Sutta did not speculate on the reasons behind Bachar and Thornton's absence from the reunion, which she dismissively referred to as a "cash grab." She disclosed that she only received a phone call from Scherzinger on the very day the tour was publicly announced, stating, "I don't plan to call her back." Representatives for both The Pussycat Dolls and Scherzinger have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding Sutta's allegations.

A Florida native, Sutta has a history of sharing social media posts in support of both Kennedy and Trump. Last year, she spoke out against COVID-19 vaccine mandates in an interview with the Daily Mail, claiming she felt "on the brink of death" after receiving the Moderna vaccine. "I'm willing to risk my reputation so this doesn't happen to anyone else," she told the outlet. "There are many people in the industry, way bigger than me, with a bigger outreach, with vaccine injuries. But they won't speak out."

Prior Attempts at Communication

Sutta's appearance on the podcast followed a social media statement she issued days earlier, where she described hearing the tour announcement as "difficult" after attempting "to reach out privately for several months." She wrote on Instagram, "I simply would have appreciated a heads-up earlier so I could process everything privately and handle the situation with a bit more grace and dignity. That said, I genuinely wish the girls a successful tour and nothing but the best moving forward."

Meanwhile, Scherzinger has been enjoying a professional resurgence, notably winning a Tony Award for her portrayal of Norma Desmond in Broadway's "Sunset Boulevard." During a recent appearance on NBC's "Today" show with Roberts and Wyatt, Scherzinger seemed momentarily speechless when questioned about the trio's formation. Wyatt quickly interjected, remarking, "This is what it looks like now in 2026." She added, "I think, ultimately, we've got to protect our peace, and when something like the Pussycat Dolls has so much history — we have ruptured in the past, and right now we are repairing."
