Organizers reported that this year's attendance surpassed previous records, with visitors from across Windsor-Essex and beyond. 'We are thrilled to see such an incredible turnout,' said event coordinator Sarah MacLeod. 'The community has embraced the games like never before.' The crowd enjoyed performances by multiple pipe bands, including the Windsor Police Pipe Band, and competitions in caber toss, hammer throw, and stone put.
Cultural Celebrations and Family Activities
In addition to athletic events, the games featured a Highland dance competition with participants ranging in age from 5 to 75. A genealogy tent helped attendees trace their Scottish roots, while vendors offered kilts, tartan scarves, and whisky tastings. Children's activities included face painting and a mini caber toss. 'It's a wonderful way to connect with our heritage,' said attendee James Fraser of LaSalle. 'We come every year, and it keeps getting better.'

The record crowd also boosted local businesses, with hotels and restaurants reporting increased traffic. The Kingsville Chamber of Commerce estimated the event generated over $500,000 in economic activity.
