Sled Island 2026 Full Lineup: Lil Mariko, illuminati hotties

The Sled Island Music and Arts Festival has unveiled its complete lineup for the 2026 edition, featuring more than 150 performers spanning a wide array of genres. The festival, scheduled to take place from June 17 to 21 across multiple venues in Calgary, will showcase everything from hyperpop and hip-hop to thrash-punk and experimental cello music.

Guest Curators clipping. Shape the Festival

This year's festival is curated by the Los Angeles experimental hip-hop trio clipping., which includes rapper and actor Daveed Diggs. Diggs, who won a Tony Award in 2016 for his roles in the musical Hamilton, has helped select a diverse range of acts for the event. Among the artists chosen by clipping. is Nigerian-American pianist Sharon Udoh, who will perform with the band at the Palace Theatre on June 20. The curators are also bringing in Cooling Prongs, an experimental project led by composer Christopher Fleeger that focuses on ambience recording and sampled objects.

Headliners and Notable Acts

The lineup includes the Canadian debut of hyperpop hip-hop artist Lil Mariko, whose 2019 viral hit "Where's My Juul??" gained widespread attention. Other major acts include Los Angeles punk band illuminati hotties, alt-rockers Palehound, the Chris Derksen Quartet from northern Alberta, Ottawa indie-rocker Fanclubwallet, Texas thrash-punks TEAR DUNGEON, New Mexico pop-punkers Weedrat, experimental post-punk artists J.R.C.G., Calgary Plains Cree rapper Drezus, Winnipeg indie-rockers Virgo Rising, sludge-metal duo FRANKLIN from Whitehorse, Toronto-based electronic artist Eejungmi, San Francisco's Tricky FM, Toronto art-rock duo Kali Horse, and Vancouver country-punkers Spank Williams.

These new additions join previously announced performers such as U.K. chamber-pop collective Black Country, New Road, Montreal bedroom-pop act HOMESHAKE, Pittsburgh indie-rockers feeble little horse, Sled Island favorite Thor Harris of Swans, Minnesota death-metal trio Suffering Hour, California dream-pop artist Emily Yacina, and Montreal punkers The Retail Simps. New York City experimental rapper billy woods, Calgary's Cartel Madras, California industrial act Lana Del Rabies, and Montreal metal/industrial/hip-hop artist Backxwash were earlier revealed as picks by clipping.
