Jake Hall Dies After Smashing Through Glass Door in Spain

Jake Hall, a former model and fashion designer who appeared on the British reality television show The Only Way Is Essex, has died in Spain at the age of 35. According to police, Hall died after reportedly smashing his head through a glass door while staying at a villa in Majorca.

Details of the Incident

Police believe Hall died accidentally between Tuesday night and early Wednesday after throwing himself against the glass. Witnesses told investigators that Hall had been out partying all night and decided to continue the party at the rented villa. A source to the U.K. Sun stated, "It appears from what police have been told that he became agitated, possibly from alcohol and other substances he may have consumed." Hall may have begun to harm himself by banging his head against things after he turned aggressive.

Neighbors Report Loud Noises

Neighbors reported hearing loud noises that made the walls vibrate. One neighbor told local outlet Ultima Hora, "I began to hear a very loud noise, as if they were drilling something. They stopped after about five minutes and then I fell asleep." Residents said they had no previous problems with Hall and his friends during their stay.

Originally from east London, Hall previously said that his family moved to Majorca when he was a child. He split his time between England and Spain for work and leisure.
