Country Music Stars to Headline Nashville North at 2026 Calgary Stampede

The Calgary Stampede has announced an impressive lineup for its Nashville North venue at the 2026 event, with chart-topping artists Bailey Zimmerman and Russell Dickerson set to headline the popular country music tent. The announcement comes as excitement builds for what organizers are calling "the heart of the city's best live country music."

Star-Studded Lineup Revealed

According to a recent news release from the Calgary Stampede, the Nashville North tent will run from July 2 to 12, 2026, featuring more than 100 acts across four stages. In addition to Zimmerman and Dickerson, the lineup includes award-winning artists Chris Young, Hudson Westbrook, Josh Ross, Ashley McBryde, Redferrin, Ernest, James Barker Band, Chris Janson, and Parmalee.

"Nashville North continues to be the heart of the city's best live country music," said Meghan Kivisto, vice-president of marketing, sales and programming for the Calgary Stampede. "With a bigger tent, bigger artists and the best party vibes, it's time to celebrate like you only can at The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth."

Free Entertainment with Admission

One of the most appealing aspects of the Nashville North experience is that all shows are completely free with admission to the Stampede grounds. This provides festival-goers with exceptional value, allowing them to enjoy world-class country music performances without additional ticket costs.

The expanded Nashville North venue promises to deliver what organizers describe as "several days of non-stop country where the music never quits and the energy stays high from the first chord to the last." The tent has been expanded for the 2026 event, allowing for more artists and enhanced audience experiences.

Building on Previous Success

Bailey Zimmerman brings significant experience performing in Calgary, having previously performed at the 2023 Country Thunder Music Festival at Fort Calgary. His inclusion in the 2026 Stampede lineup represents a continuation of his growing popularity in Western Canada's country music scene.

Russell Dickerson, known for hits like "Blue Tacoma" and "Love You Like I Used To," adds to the star power of the Nashville North lineup. Both artists have achieved significant chart success and critical acclaim in recent years, making their Calgary Stampede appearances highly anticipated events for country music fans.

Comprehensive Festival Experience

The Nashville North tent represents just one aspect of the broader Calgary Stampede experience, which combines rodeo events, agricultural exhibitions, carnival attractions, and multiple music venues. The 2026 event promises to be particularly special with the expanded Nashville North programming.

Organizers emphasize that the Nashville North shows provide accessible entertainment for all Stampede attendees, reinforcing the event's reputation as a premier destination for country music enthusiasts across Canada and beyond.
