Ceres Unveils Endura: A Revolutionary Solid Oxide Platform for Clean Energy
Ceres Launches Endura Solid Oxide Platform for Clean Power

HORSHAM, United Kingdom, April 15, 2026 – Ceres Power Holdings plc has officially launched Ceres Endura, its flagship solid oxide stack platform, marking a significant advancement in the clean energy sector. This innovative technology is engineered to meet the growing demand for resilient and efficient onsite power, particularly for data centers and other energy-intensive applications.

Designed for Scale and Efficiency

Ceres Endura is built to reduce risk and accelerate deployment, offering a game-changing solution for power generation. The platform operates at a lower temperature range of 450–630°C, utilizing steel-supported cells and cost-effective, recyclable materials. This proprietary design lowers overall fuel cell system costs by approximately one-third, supporting gigawatt-scale manufacturing across both power and hydrogen markets.

Real-World Performance and Durability

For power generation, Ceres Endura achieves over 65% electrical efficiency on natural gas and more than 90% total efficiency in combined heat and power applications. It is engineered to withstand real-world conditions, enabling rapid load following and robustness for emergency stops and thermal cycles. The platform boasts a five-year stack life, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.

Fuel Flexibility and Market Access

Ceres Endura offers fuel flexibility, allowing operation on natural gas today while supporting hydrogen and other low-carbon fuels in the future. From a single production facility, partners can access both power and hydrogen markets, with systems that can be installed and commissioned in months rather than years. This avoids the long lead times associated with grid upgrades and conventional infrastructure.

Advancing Hydrogen Production

When integrated with industrial heat, Ceres Endura achieves around 30% higher efficiency than conventional low-temperature electrolysis, significantly reducing operating costs and supporting industrial-scale hydrogen economics. This makes it a key player in the transition to sustainable energy solutions.

Partnership and Global Reach

Ceres Endura, combined with Ceres' partnership model, provides a direct route to market for companies aiming to scale quickly and competitively. Ceres supports partners through a proven business model and factory blueprint, enabling local manufacturing, access to national incentives, and export into global markets.

Nick Lawrence, Chief Product Officer at Ceres, stated, "Ceres Endura turns decades of solid oxide development into a mature platform that’s ready for scale and built to last."
