Donald Trump ally Joe Rogan offered a pro tip to the president after he got roundly booed this week during the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden.

“Stick to UFC,” the podcast giant said in an episode that dropped Wednesday.

Trump will be in friendly confines when he hosts his 80th birthday presentation of a UFC card Sunday on the White House lawn, even if the celebrity presence seems like it will be scant.

Rogan, who also announces UFC fights, veered into adviser territory when guest comic Joey Diaz ranted about the traffic problems created by Trump’s trip to the World’s Most Famous Arena.

The host noted that “people were so upset that Trump was gonna go to the NBA because if he’s there they have all these crazy security protocols that makes the traffic even worse,” he remarked. (We’re thinking his ongoing war in Iran, inflation and vicious crackdown on migrants is also upsetting people.) “He should stick to the UFC,” Rogan said. “They’re gonna boo him everywhere else.”

“I heard it was like cheers and boos,” the podcaster continued, “but the problem is if there’s cheers and any boos — if there’s like 50/50 ... don’t go to that spot. Go to the UFC.”

Rogan said he’d been to six or so UFC events with Trump and never seen him jeered. “They fucking cheer.”

He said the fight crowd adores it when Trump enters the arena to Kid Rock’s “American Bad Ass.” When he attended with friend-turned-foe Tucker Carlson, “it was like the conservative Avengers,” Rogan recalled.

Trump has recently been greeted by boo birds at a Washington Commanders game, the U.S. Open and the FIFA Club World Cup.

If they came out on Sunday at the White House, they would certainly be hitting him where he lives.
