A 30-year-old Edmonton man has been charged with sexual assault of a minor, according to the Edmonton Police Service. Authorities are encouraging any other potential victims to come forward.

Arrest and Charges

Brian Brook Kaskamin was arrested on June 2 and faces charges of sexual assault of a minor, sexual interference, and administering a noxious substance. Police allege that Kaskamin used the dating app Grindr to meet minors and often hosted vulnerable youth at his home in northeast Edmonton.

Released on Conditions

Kaskamin has been released from custody under the condition that he have no contact with anyone under the age of 16. The investigation is ongoing, and police believe there may be additional victims.
