Calgary police are investigating after a woman in her 40s and a child under 10 years old were found dead in a northeast home on Wednesday afternoon. The discovery was made during a welfare check at a residence in the Temple neighborhood around 2 p.m. on June 10, 2026.
Officers arrived at the scene to conduct the welfare check and subsequently located the bodies of a 40-year-old woman and a 10-year-old child. In a statement released to the media, police indicated that there are believed to be no suspects in the case at this time.
