We try dozens of beauty products each month. These were our testers' three favourite launches this week:

Henry Rose Ripe Eau de Parfum

They say: A new fragrance from Henry Rose that features notes of lychee, watermelon, and sandalwood. The fruity-floral elixir is described as "bright, juicy, addictive."

We say: You know the kind of fragrance that makes you want to chase after someone to find out what scent they're wearing? This is that scent. Our testers found this fragrance to be very fruit-forward but not sickly sweet. The lychee is inviting and pairs perfectly with the juicy watermelon notes. The sandalwood serves to anchor the scent and give it a more complex profile. It's the perfect summer scent!

Merit Clean Volume Mascara

They say: A new mascara release from Merit that promises mega volume for lashes. Featuring a small, precise brush to better define lashes from root to tip, the Clean Volume release is the brand's first tubing formula to lift, separate, and sculpt lashes. Available in black and brown.

We say: This mascara delivers big time on length and lift. Our tester applied just two coats to her lashes and was impressed with the boost. Unlike some tubing formulas, which can be a bit messy to apply, this product is easy to glide on lashes, with the brush gripping even tiny hairs.

Rare Beauty Brow Harmony

They say: The bestselling brow gel from Rare Beauty goes colourful with six new natural brow shades. Promising 'strong yet flexible' hold of brow hair for up to 12 hours, the waterproof formulation won't flake or cake on hairs for an ultra-natural finish.

We say: We screamed when we saw this new release. Having tried dozens of brow gels over the years, our testers can confidently say the original Rare Beauty brow formula is a favourite. The new hues mean you can bulk up and subtly fill brows without any added pencil or brow powder. The brush applicator is easy to use, applying the perfect amount of brow gel to groom and define brows without getting clumpy.
