Canadian brand Sperri™, recognized as the country's first organic plant-based meal replacement beverage, has launched a significant donation program aimed at supporting vulnerable communities during the challenging winter months. The initiative involves donating more than 10,000 cases of its complete meal replacement beverages, which translates to approximately 120,000 meals, to food banks across Canada.

This charitable effort comes at a crucial time, as food insecurity in Canada has reached alarming levels. Recent reports indicate that nearly 2.2 million Canadians relied on food banks in March 2025, with a staggering one-third of these users being children. Sperri's donation is strategically designed to help fill the nutritional gap by providing a balanced, whole-food option to individuals and families in need.
The company is collaborating with several key organizations to ensure the donations reach those who need them most. Distribution partners include Feed Nova Scotia, Food Banks Alberta, and the Toronto Vegetarian Food Bank.
