Ontario Murder Suspects May Have Fled to B.C., Police Warn

At least one of two individuals wanted for a murder investigation in Ontario is believed to have fled to British Columbia, according to police. Authorities have issued a warning that the suspect may be hiding in several communities across the province.

Suspects Identified

Arrest warrants have been issued for 34-year-old Joseph Madore and Brayton Kennedy, both from Ottawa. They are facing charges of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Christo Allison Richards, also 34, of Ottawa.

Incident Details

On the afternoon of April 12, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call at Last Duel Park in Perth, a community southwest of Ottawa. Upon arrival, officers found a person suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to a trauma centre but was later pronounced dead.

Possible Location

Police have indicated that Madore has associates in several British Columbia communities, including Richmond, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Terrace. It is believed he may be in B.C. Kennedy could be travelling with Madore or may still be in the Ottawa area, police said.

Authorities are urging the public not to approach either man if they are spotted, but to contact local police immediately.
