A 13-year-old boy has been charged with uttering threats at a school in northern Alberta, leading to the seizure of a firearm by police. The incident occurred in Sexsmith, Alberta, approximately 450 kilometers northwest of Edmonton.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) responded to a report of threats made at a local school. Upon investigation, officers located and seized a firearm. The youth was taken into custody without incident. He faces charges of uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
