A 63-year-old man who was wanted by the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has been arrested in Cobourg, Ontario. Guy Fowler, described as a white male, six feet two inches tall and weighing approximately 280 pounds, was taken into custody without incident. He has a distinctive tattoo of a wolf on his left shoulder.
The arrest occurred after a coordinated effort between the Essex County OPP and the Cobourg Police Service. Fowler was wanted on multiple charges, including break and enter, theft, and possession of stolen property. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
Fowler is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to face the charges. The OPP have thanked the public for their assistance in locating him.
