The enforcement blitz took place on May 17, 2026, from 6 p.m. to midnight, focusing on high-risk driving behaviors such as speeding, impaired driving, and distracted driving. Police set up checkpoints and deployed additional patrols across Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Among the 57 charges, officers issued citations for speeding, careless driving, and driving without a valid license. Several drivers were also charged with impaired driving-related offenses.
