Manitoba RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in the remote northern community of Leaf Rapids, located approximately 800 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg. Officers were dispatched to a residence on Thursday evening following a report of an unresponsive individual. Upon arrival, they discovered a deceased person at the scene. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
