Police in Chilliwack, British Columbia, are searching for suspects in connection with two separate assaults, one of which resulted in life-threatening injuries. The RCMP have released details about both incidents and are appealing to the public for information.
First Assault Details
The first assault occurred earlier this week in the downtown area. A male victim was attacked and sustained serious injuries. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Investigators believe the victim may have been targeted, though a motive has not yet been established.
Second Assault Incident
The second assault took place in a residential neighborhood. Fortunately, the injuries in this case were less severe. However, police believe the same suspects may be involved in both attacks. Descriptions of the suspects have been released, but no arrests have been made.
Police Investigation
The RCMP are conducting a thorough investigation, including reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses. They are urging anyone with information to come forward. "We are treating these incidents very seriously," said a spokesperson. "The safety of our community is our top priority."
