The area was immediately secured as a crime scene, and the specialized RPS Forensic Identification Unit was summoned to conduct a thorough examination. Police have confirmed the body was found "on the far north side of the lot on that block closest to Victoria Avenue, outside a business."

In a statement issued Sunday, police emphasized the preliminary nature of the investigation. "At this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public. The victim’s name will not be released at this time," the RPS news release stated.

This standard protocol allows investigators to properly notify next of kin and preserve the integrity of the ongoing probe. No information regarding the man's age, the cause of death, or any potential suspects has been disclosed.
