A violent overnight attack in downtown Toronto has left a man fighting for his life, prompting an intensive police search for a female suspect.

Toronto Police officers were dispatched to the area of Queen Street East and Jarvis Street around 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim who had sustained serious stab wounds.
The victim, identified as a man in his 30s, was rushed to hospital by Toronto Paramedic Services with what police have confirmed are life-threatening injuries. The early morning incident has shaken the Moss Park community, known for its mix of residential and commercial spaces.

Police have released a detailed description of the suspect: a white female wearing a black coat, white sweater, blue jeans, white tuque, and white shoes. To facilitate their investigation, police have closed a section of Queen Street East between Jarvis and Church Streets, cordoning off the area with yellow crime scene tape.
