Homicide Investigation Underway in Brampton
Peel Regional Police have launched a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting in Brampton on Saturday evening. Officers discovered the body of a male victim after responding to a call in the Loafers Lake Lane and Conestoga Drive area.
Details of the Incident
Authorities were called to the scene at approximately 7:15 p.m. on November 16, 2025. Upon arrival, police located a male victim who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. According to CTV News, paramedics confirmed the victim was a young man and that no other injuries were reported.
Detectives from the Homicide Bureau have taken over the investigation and are actively seeking suspects who fled the area. In a statement on social media, Peel Police confirmed they believe this was an isolated incident and do not believe there is an ongoing threat to public safety.
