In a Sunday update, Alberta RCMP Corporal Gina Slaney announced that Cooper was found in the rural municipality of Grandview, near Kindersley, Saskatchewan, at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Saturday.
"Unfortunately, she was located deceased," Slaney said in a release. "Her dog Halo was also located, and he is safe. The circumstances surrounding her death are not suspicious. RCMP sends condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Cooper."

Zoe Cooper, Diane's granddaughter, expressed the family's grief in a Facebook post, thanking the community for their support during the search. "Our grandma has unfortunately passed away," Zoe wrote.
