Prison Guard Accused of Sex Romps with Gangbanger at Belmarsh

A female prison guard has been accused of engaging in sexual relationships with a male inmate at one of the United Kingdom's most notorious prisons. Michelle Molver, 30, allegedly used HMP Belmarsh, often referred to as the UK's Guantanamo Bay, as her personal love nest.

Molver, who worked as a prison employment lead at the London facility, is charged with misconduct in public office. Her role was to help inmates prepare for jobs after their release. According to reports, she allegedly had sexual encounters with convict Kemai Mathurine between August 1 and September 5, 2025.

The prison houses a wide range of dangerous criminals, including rapists, killers, and terrorists. Notable former inmates include WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and extremist cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri.

Court Appearance and Potential Sentence

Molver appeared in court on Monday, where she only confirmed her name, age, and address. Details of her alleged actions remain under wraps, and she is scheduled to return to court next month. If convicted, she faces a potential life sentence.

Belmarsh's Controversial History

Belmarsh has faced criticism in the past. In the early 2000s, Amnesty International reported that inmates detained under anti-terror laws suffered conditions amounting to cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment. Kate Allen, former director of Amnesty International UK, accused the government of creating a facility similar to Guantanamo Bay.

In her online profile, Molver described her role as supporting prisoners into employment to reduce reoffending. Her alleged actions contradict this mission.

Pattern of Scandals

Molver is the latest in a series of sex scandals involving female guards and male prisoners in the UK. In February, guard Charlotte Winstanley, 27, was convicted for smuggling contraband, including a cellphone, to inmate Jabhari Blair. She was sentenced to 30 months for their sexual relationship.

Another case involved Linda de Sousa Abreu, a former guard and OnlyFans model, who was jailed for 15 months after being filmed having sex with a convict at HMP Wandsworth. The judge described her as an enthusiastic participant.

These incidents highlight ongoing concerns about security and misconduct within the prison system.
