Edmonton police are investigating a suspicious death that occurred early Wednesday morning in the Westmount neighbourhood. Officers responded to a call at approximately 4 a.m. regarding a man in medical distress outside a residence near 124 Street and 109 Avenue.

Upon arrival, police discovered a 22-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene. The Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section has taken over the investigation. No autopsy has been scheduled at this time.
