The victim was later identified as 30-year-old Christopher Rogers, a resident of Andrew, a village located northeast of Edmonton. The circumstances surrounding his death immediately prompted a thorough investigation by law enforcement authorities.
Police Investigation Leads to Suspect Vehicle
Following the incident, RCMP released information to the public regarding a possible suspect vehicle. Their investigative efforts eventually led them to Medicine Hat, where Brooks RCMP, with assistance from Medicine Hat police, seized a Volkswagen Jetta from a residential property.
